Mission: Chimes of the Desert Oasis {Completed by Youji}

Nightfall...

It's night-time in the desert. Cold winds blew about all over, lizards and snakes scuttering all about. But your destination is the oasis in the desert. That one oasis... no wait. There were many oases in the desert. And many were merely a mirage, set for thirsty, delusional travellers. Too bad that the mission requestor didn't specify which oasis she was talking about.

While you make your way to somewhere far in the desert, you see four different oases on four different sides. There isn't any sounds coming from either of them; or maybe you just can't hear the music. What will you do now?

Go to the oasis in front of you.

Go to the oasis behind you.

Go to the oasis to your left.

Go to the oasis to your right.

Follow your foot-steps and leave the desert.

Youji was looking in all 4 parts to see where the good oasis is, but he coouldn't tell wich one is the correct one. He tried to listen and see if he can here any music, but nothing"Maybe i'm too far from them"Youji looked around"Wich one to take first?"He turned towards the oasis that was to his left

While you start walking towards your left, you realize that the faint sound you heard before was not being heard at all. Obviously, you've reached the wrong oasis. Now, since you are facing the area from the left, the sides of the oases have changed.

Go to the oasis to your left.

Go to the oasis to your right.

Go to the oasis in front of you.

Follow your foot-steps and leave the desert.

He saw that he didn't choose the correct one so he choosed again. This time he choosed the one that was at his right. He walked slowly towards it hoping this time he got the right one

While you make your way through the cold sand, the strange music and noises gets louder. So this was the oasis that you were meant to get to.

While you approach it, the screeching noises, albeit horrible, were rather calming to a musician's ears. Knowing that, you stand by the oasis, with the following options;

Get closer to the oasis.

Throw a pile of sand into the oasis.

Jump into the water of the oasis.

Start playing your harp, to play the same melody as the "Oasis".

Follow your footsteps, and leave the desert.

Youji tooked out his harp and started playing the same melody as the "Oasis". He wanted to see what will happen if he will do this

While you play your music, with the "oasis", the sounds seem to stop. After a short while, the sounds restart playing music, except this time, with a different tune, and a higher note.

Play the same tune of the oasis again.

Jump into the oasis.

Throw a pile of sand into the oasis.

Follow your footsteps, and leave the desert.

Hearing that the tune changed and the notes are higher Youji did the same thing and continued to play the harp. He thought that this might be the thing he should do to discover the secret of that oasis

As you keep playing your harp, the notes get higher and higher, and the tune changes again. It seems like the oasis is testing your skill as a musician. So you know that you have to keep on playing. But can you keep up?

You successfully manage to keep on playing the tune of the oasis. The oasis plays that melody for a while, and then the tune shift to a lower note.

Once again, you succeed to follow the tune of the oasis. Then, the tune goes down so low that you can barely listen to it. Can you still follow it?

Oncea gain, your harp strings a note low enough to match taht of the oasis. In the middle of the strange melody, the music from the oasis stops. Vines erupt from the oasis, green, clinky vines, and start waving around in a foreign way. As if they want to tell you something. After a moment, it seems as if the vines were gesturing you to follow them into the water.

Dive into the water with your harp.

Dive into the water without your harp.

Leave the desert somehow.

Try to slash the vines off.

AS Youji saw the vines gesturing him to follow them in the water he starts thinking that this may be a trap. He thinks but that was his only option so he dived in the water holding his harp

Te vines sink underwater. The first thing you notice, however, is taht you can actually breathe underwater, breathe fresh oxygen. The vines didn't mean any harm to you, they were friendly... friendly vines. (?)

When you dive in, you see nothing but murky water. The vines slowly slide out into the water, deeper.

Follow the vine.

Just enjoy your swim.

Get out of the water.

Youji was amazed that he can acctually breath underwater so he continued to follow the vines. He started to wonder where could the vines take them

While you folow the vines, they take you deep under-water. Soon, you come to a place with a bright-violet, large clam sitting on the ground, underwater. The clam opens to reveal a beautiful mermaid, asleep...

On the inner walls of the clam, you can see a strange time of symphony, notes for a kind of song. The vines pushed towards them, and them poked your harp gently. Apprently, you'd have to play that song to wake the girl up.

What you could guess from watching the clam, was that the notes were to be strung in the following manner: High, high, low, high, really high, low, really low.

At first, nothing seems to happen. After a few minutes, the mermain begins to slowly wake from her slumber. When the vine notices that the mermaid is rising, it violently pushes you away. When you look up, you notice that the spot where you dived from is right above you. But then something touches you on your hand. You see that it is a scroll. You also notice that your supply of oxygen ran out, you can't breathe underwater anymore.

Take the scroll and swim out.

Leave the scroll and swim out.

Stay and drown.

Youji then tooked the scroll and started to swin out of the oasis. He got out and liad on his back, he then sighed"Well i have a scroll and i finished my mission" Youji then thinks"Maybe i will come some other day to sing for the mermaid"

You get out of the water, and out the oasis. But as you walk away from the spot, you look back to see that the oasis disappeared. With that mysterious sight imprinted into your mind, you begin walking away...

Mission accomplished! o.o Enjoy training your new jutsu. xD
